Shared Stories
It is time for a collection of Survivor stories to further the healing and reconciliation process. While the intergenerational impacts of the residential school system continue to multiply, the number of Survivors diminishes with each passing year. It is important that these Survivors have the opportunity to speak about their lives, and how they were impacted by their residential school experiences. Their stories need to be shared in order to contribute to greater understanding and empathy, which, in turn, can lead to reconciliation.
